Where I grew up in rural Ohio, the county fair was a big deal. I didn't raise animals, but a lot of my friends did, so I'd go check out the animals and maybe catch the demolition derby. The Los Angeles County Fair down the road from where I live now, is a bit, um, different. (More couture, less manure.)
Regardless of where you live, there is something about fair food that gets everyone salivating. I saw a photo of one popular fair food this year--the deep-fried chocolate strawberry in waffle batter-- and thought I HAD to try it. Here's a wheat-free, cane-sugar free version.
Fried Strawberries on a Stick
10-12 fresh strawberries
1 cup rice flour
1/4 cup soy flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon pure stevia powdered extract
1/3 cup sesame oil
frying oil
10-12 bamboo kabob skewers
1/4 cup chocolate sauce
Fill a heavy skillet with about 2 inches of frying oil. Heat to 350 to 375 degrees.
While the oil is heating, mix together the flours, baking powder, stevia, and sesame oil with a dash of salt.
Poke the sharp end of the skewers into the strawberries through the leafy part. Dip the red end of the strawberries in the batter and fry until the batter is golden. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and enjoy.
(If you're looking for dairy-free and/or cane sugar-free chocolate sauce, I like Suzanne's chocolate rice nectar. It's super fudgy)
Restaurants should realise that if they want customers to carry on dining out then they need to lower their prices. It's not rocket science.

If you want to buy a car, you would have to get the home loans. Moreover, my mother always uses a car loan, which seems to be really rapid.
